    The Big Little Walk 2027

Bring your family, gather your friends, and join us for The Big Little Walk 2027.

Designed with children at its heart, The Big Little Walk is a fun, inclusive community event where every child can take part in their own way. Together, we’ll walk, explore, complete activities and celebrate what can happen when communities come together.

    About the Event

The Big Little Walk is one of Options’ flagship fundraising events, bringing together families, friends and local communities for a day of fun, adventure and fundraising.

Created especially for children aged 0–12 and the adults who support them, the walk encourages everyone to take part at their own pace. Whether you’re walking with a pushchair, taking on every activity stop, or simply enjoying time together by the waterfront, every step helps make a difference.

Taking place along the Wirral coastline, The Big Little Walk combines family fun with community spirit, helping to raise funds that create opportunities for people with disabilities to live full and active lives.

    On the day…

Each year, the Tea Party brings together a mix of familiar faces and new connections.

From shared conversations to simple moments over a cup of tea, it’s these small interactions that make the day feel special.

Whether you’re local, working nearby, or just passing through, come and join us for a cup of tea, a conversation, and a chance to be part of something special.

    Part of Learning Disability Week

Our Tea Party forms part of Learning Disability Week 2026 (15–21 June), a national moment to celebrate people with learning disabilities and raise awareness of the importance of inclusion.

It also marks the starting point for what comes next.

Following the event, we’ll be introducing “Educake Yourself” our virtual tea party experience designed to help people learn, reflect and take action in their own time. More details will be shared soon.

With thanks to Liverpool Parish Church

With thanks to Liverpool Parish Church of Our Lady & Saint Nicholas, we’ll once again host the event in St Nicholas’ Gardens.

It’s a beautiful, open space that allows us to welcome not only those planning to attend, but also those who simply pass by. Many people discover the event by chance and leave having made a connection, learned something new, or simply enjoyed being part of a welcoming community.
