As part of Learning Disability Week 2026, this event celebrates this year’s theme, “Do You See Me?”. Throughout the week, people and communities across the UK are coming together to recognise the voices, experiences, talents and everyday lives of people with learning disabilities.
What To Expect
This relaxed and collaborative workshop invites people to explore creativity, identity and self-expression through branding, design and shared ideas.
Whether you enjoy creativity, design or simply sharing ideas, everyone is welcome to take part.

About the workshop
The POD Branding Workshop is a chance for people to contribute directly to the future look, feel and personality of The POD through collaborative creative activities.
The session focuses on creativity, inclusion and shared ownership, helping ensure the space reflects the people and communities who use it.
About The Pod
The POD (Pioneers of Development) is a welcoming community space designed to bring people together through creativity, conversation, learning and inclusive community activity.
Accessibility & Inclusion
We want everyone attending to feel welcome, comfortable and included.
The POD is an accessible venue with a relaxed and inclusive environment. Support staff, carers, families and friends are welcome to attend alongside participants.
This workshop is designed to be informal, supportive and open to all experience levels. There is no pressure to create in any particular way or to have previous experience with art activities.
