As part of Learning Disability Week 2026, this event celebrates this year’s theme, “Do You See Me?”. Throughout the week, people and communities across the UK are coming together to recognise the voices, experiences, talents and everyday lives of people with learning disabilities.
What To Expect
This relaxed and inclusive creative session invites people to explore ideas, words, rhythm and self-expression through collaborative song-writing. Whether you enjoy music, love being creative or simply want to try something new, everyone is welcome to take part.

About RAWD
RAWD creates bold and inclusive creative opportunities led by disabled artists and performers. Through music, theatre and collaborative projects, RAWD supports people to express themselves creatively, build confidence and connect with others through the arts.
About The Pod
The POD (Pioneers of Development) is a welcoming community space designed to bring people together through creativity, conversation, learning and inclusive community activity.
Accessibility & Inclusion
We want everyone attending to feel welcome, comfortable and included.
The POD is an accessible venue with a relaxed and inclusive environment. Support staff, carers, families and friends are welcome to attend alongside participants. This session is designed to be informal, supportive and open to all experience levels. There is no pressure to perform or participate in any particular way.
