On the day…

Each year, the Tea Party brings together a mix of familiar faces and new connections.

From shared conversations to simple moments over a cup of tea, it’s these small interactions that make the day feel special.

Whether you’re local, working nearby, or just passing through, come and join us for a cup of tea, a conversation, and a chance to be part of something special.

Part of Learning Disability Week

Our Tea Party forms part of Learning Disability Week 2026 (15–21 June), a national moment to celebrate people with learning disabilities and raise awareness of the importance of inclusion.

It also marks the starting point for what comes next.

Following the event, we’ll be introducing “Educake Yourself” our virtual tea party experience designed to help people learn, reflect and take action in their own time. More details will be shared soon.

Host a free stall at our Tea Party

We’re inviting stall holders to be part of this year’s event. This relaxed, community-focused space welcomes both planned visitors and people passing through the city.

We’re looking for:

Local makers and creatives

Community groups and organisations

Supporters who have something to share

Whether you create handmade items, run a local initiative, or simply want to connect with the community – we’d love to hear from you. All free of charge!

Spaces are limited, so we would encourage early enquiries.

With thanks to Liverpool Parish Church

With thanks to Liverpool Parish Church of Our Lady & Saint Nicholas, we’ll once again host the event in St Nicholas’ Gardens.

It’s a beautiful, open space that allows us to welcome not only those planning to attend, but also those who simply pass by. Many people discover the event by chance and leave having made a connection, learned something new, or simply enjoyed being part of a welcoming community.
