What is supported living?

Living life to the fullest through exceptional support

A full and valued life

Everyone is unique, everyone has value and everyone should be given the chance to contribute to the world around them. Our supported living services in Liverpool, Wirral and Sefton enable people with disabilities to do just that. We think everyone has the right to a full life; from going to the shops, to taking a holiday to living independently in their own home, we know that proper support looks different to everyone. Our supported living services make the every day and the exceptional, possible.

Who might need supported living or outreach services?

What can supported living look like?

Person-centred supported living looks different to everyone. We know that everyone is unique and this should be celebrated through the support they receive. It can look like one or many of these things (plus much more):

Everyday living

From helping people to go to the shops, to personal care to cleaning someone’s home, our support covers the everyday basics of living.

Becoming part of a wider community

Building inclusive communities comes from taking part in them. We support people to build their confidence and take part in life outside of their homes.

Support navigating money and housing matters

Whether someone lives on their own or as part of a family, we can guide you to understand your home and finances.

Going on holiday

Sometimes living a full life means visiting other places! We’ll always create opportunities for people to travel and experience the wider world.

Good health and wellbeing

From accessing GP services, to making appointments to improving your overall quality of life, our support considers your wellbeing holistically.

Taking part in hobbies and passions

Every day living also includes hobbies, interests and passions. Whatever someone is interested in, we create space for the things people love.

When is supported living the right choice?

Even though supported living looks different to everyone, deciding if it’s the right choice for you or a loved one is personal. Our version of supported living goes beyond the minimum that is often offered through social care. We’re here to help people live full lives whether that be in their own homes or with their families. Let’s figure out together what’s right for you.
